Se trata de Merl\u00edn Cochran, un ingeniero civil egresado del Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey que cuenta con maestr\u00edas en Administraci\u00f3n de Empresas por la London Business School y Columbia Business School, y un diplomado en Liderazgo de Harvard Business School.<\/p>\n<p>Su experiencia abarca la administraci\u00f3n de plataformas petroleras terrestres y marinas y su paso por empresas internacionales en Venezuela, Om\u00e1n, Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos, Irak y Arabia Saudita. Antes de llegar a la AMEXHI, fue director general adjunto de An\u00e1lisis y Seguimiento del Sector Hidrocarburos en la Secretar\u00eda de Energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Merl\u00edn Cochran llega en sustituci\u00f3n de Raymundo Pi\u00f1ones, quien dirigi\u00f3 la Asociaci\u00f3n desde su creaci\u00f3n, hace ya cuatro a\u00f1os.
